The park, created in the style of an English garden, is a botanical garden situated at the highest elevation in Hungary with an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level. It offers a magnificent view and a pleasant refreshment in every season. The babbling of the Cuha stream, the warm brown-yellow colors in autumn, the blanket of snow covering the branches in winter, and the mistletoe conjure the visitor into a fairytale world.
The establishment of the 20-hectare wood garden can be dated to the second half of the 18th century. In addition to the plants, we can also observe representatives of the Bakony-specific beetle and insect world during our visit. It may also happen that deer and squirrels accompany our garden walk.
